After serving for 17 years as the premiere destination portal for the Sunshine Coast of BC, it was time to take Bigpacific.com out of the tourism business and into the personal blogosphere. This meant a wholesale redesign, including reviewing all of the analytics from the existing site to identify high traffic / highly linked pages and recreating them in the new site and writing 301 redirects, building on the X Theme framework (fantastic), judicious plugin additions, and consistent blogging/writing and photography to switch the focus.
The new blog is getting a lot of traction and comments and people are asking to advertise on it = set on our new course!
